Good day, Upgrading Seniors. I’m coming to you live this week from Colorado Springs, Colorado where I am doing a little hiking in the mountains.
Today, I went for an 11.5 mile hike on the “Hike Around the Peak” (as in Pike’s Peak) trail. Fantastic. Most of the hiking was at around 10, 400 feet. I thought perhaps the altitude would affect me, being a flatlander, but I felt no ill-effects.
I was out on the mountain for about 6 hours and saw one other group of hikers the entire time. Solitude is good. Here are a few Upgraded Photos of the journey.
